ABOUT MARCKY

Marc Joseph Foster Jr. came into our lives on August 4, 2021. While every parent believes their child is the center of the universe, our entire family truly revolved around Marcky. He was the baby of the family, but without a doubt, he was the boss of everyone—smart, funny, fresh, fiercely independent, and full of life.

Marcky loved his big brother, Jackson, and big sister, Nina, with all his heart. His beloved dogs, Macky and Bergy, brought him endless comfort, and he loved nothing more than snuggling up with them. He had an incredible passion for nature—especially dinosaurs, snakes, and wild animals—and could name the most obscure creatures from memory. He loved playing outside, driving his Power Wheels, and showing off his skills by running over cans.

Marcky was also our little comedian. He loved hanging out with his buddies, acting silly, and saying fresh things (and a few bad words) just to hear everyone laugh. Fearless to his core, he was never bothered by timeouts because he knew he could charm his way out of them. He was breathtakingly cute, he knew it, and he absolutely beamed at every compliment. At bedtime, he would always beg for “just one more book”—and then another.

We could not have loved him more if we tried. Our hearts shattered when we lost him on June 22, 2026. We will never be the same without our son, Marcky the Fighter—but his spirit lives on in every child and family we fight for.
