Lacing Up for Marcky: Running to Fight Cancer
We're running a half marathon in Marcky's honor, and we'd love for you to run with us, in spirit or in sneakers.
Marcky's Fighters is the foundation we started in memory of our son Marcky, who we lost this June. Marcky faced a rare childhood brain cancer with more courage than any of us knew a little boy could have. He was, and always will be, Marcky the Fighter.
Running to Fight Cancer is one way we're carrying his fight forward.
The Run
Our team is lacing up for a half marathon: 13.1 miles for Marcky in Newport, Rhode Island on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Every mile is a reminder of how hard Marcky fought, and every dollar raised goes toward the mission of Marcky's Fighters. Every donation helps fund research for better, gentler treatments, and supports families going through this right now.
